Feelings
You may feel emotionally numb or paralyzed by a loss you have experienced. You may feel overwrought, filled with anxiety, or overly stressed and unable to cope with daily life. Remember this is normal.

Oftentimes, we push this pain deep inside for months or even years, unable to recognize the impact it has on the choices we make, our relationships, and our ability to live life day to day. Everyone grieves differently. However, pushing pain inside or using alcohol, drugs or prescription medication to lessen the pain usually lengthens the grieving process. Always consult a physician before beginning or ending the use of prescription medication.
